Job summary

NLS Executive Search client, a global investment bank in Hong Kong, seeks a Senior Release Manager to own all tech changes for the DPS platform on the trading floor. You will orchestrate releases across OMS, execution, booking and risk, ensuring stability, low latency and scalable change management.

Responsibilities include governance, go/no-go decisions, test strategy, capacity planning, and cross-functional collaboration with Front Office, Risk and Tech teams.

Qualifications

• Proven release/change governance lead in Investment Banking / Prime Brokerage tech.
• Strong DPS front-to-back domain knowledge: trades, valuations, financing, margin, collateral, corporate actions.
• Experience with complex cross-platform releases, CABs, and dependency management.
• Exposure to capacity management and performance monitoring for high-volume trading platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management with trading floor experience; comfortable with Agile, Unix/Linux, Python, log analysis.

Responsibilities

• Chair weekly DPS Change Forum and own go/no-go decisions, release calendar and final sign-off.
• Govern end-to-end changes across OMS, execution, booking, risk, ops and reporting.
• Lead delivery of DPS platform changes, legacy migrations and low-latency initiatives.
• Define test strategy (SIT, regression, UAT), rollback plans, and post-release validation.
• Drive stress testing and real-time monitoring to identify capacity bottlenecks.
• Own reporting on release readiness, incidents, capacity and service quality; maintain runbooks.
• Act as central SME and coordination point across Front Office, Structuring, Sales, Risk, Ops, Finance and global Tech.
