Job summary

NLS Executive Search is assisting a global trading firm in Hong Kong to hire a Senior DevOps Engineer. You will modernize deployment systems, evaluate new technologies, coordinate with DevOps and trading teams, and drive the migration.

You will automate deployment and testing, build real-time and historical data pipelines for Quant and Trading teams, provide technical leadership, and mentor junior engineers. Fluent English and 5+ years of core DevOps experience are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
5+ years in DevOps or systems engineering.
Proficiency in deployment systems, orchestration, CI/CD.
Experience coordinating across teams.
Strong Python/Golang and shell scripting.
Kafka familiarity.
Excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

Modernize deployment systems by evaluating and selecting new technologies.
Integrate new deployment system into development workflow and automate deployments.
Automate developer tools, workflows, and trader script deployment.
Create real-time monitoring solutions across IT teams.
Engineer and enhance data pipelines delivering real-time and historical data.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
