Job summary

HKU SPACE invites applications for a Senior Digital Learning Solution Engineer in the Information Technology Services Unit. The role leads the Platform Team, oversees the SOUL LMS and SOUL Mobile App, and drives enhancements to support teaching and learning.

The candidate will oversee system implementations, upgrades, testing, and deployment, ensuring security and scalability. Strong leadership, English/Chinese communication, and LMS experience are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Software Eng or related discipline with 7+ years post-qualification experience.
Experience with LMS platforms, Moodle or equivalent, and support of technology-enhanced learning services.

Responsibilities

Assist IT Manager in leading Platform Team and daily operation of Learning Platforms.
Oversee development, maintenance, and integration of e-learning platforms across the School.
Lead system implementations, upgrades, testing, deployment with emphasis on security and scalability.
Support AI-enabled teaching and learning initiatives and collaboration with academic units.
Provide second-tier support and coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve incidents.
Manage projects: requirements, design, resources, budget, delivery.
