Job summary

HKU SPACE is seeking an Assistant IT Manager (Computer Officer II) to lead the Platform Team and oversee SOUL, Moodle-based LMS, and the SOUL Mobile App. You will drive e-learning platform development, integration, and AI-enabled learning initiatives for teaching and learning enhancement.

The role requires 7+ years in IT with 5+ years in e-learning, strong leadership, and bilingual communication. The contract covers admin duties, with 2-year terms and potential renewal, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field with 7+ years post-qualification experience.
• Experience in development, implementation or management of e-learning systems.
• Proven project delivery, team supervision and stakeholder coordination.
• Strong English and Chinese communication skills; knowledge of Moodle advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist IT Manager in leading Platform Team and running daily operations.
• Oversee development, maintenance, and integration of e-learning platforms.
• Coordinate AI-enabled teaching solutions and analytics initiatives.
• Provide second-tier support and liaise with vendors and internal teams.
• Plan projects, manage budgets, and ensure IT governance and security.
