Job summary

Gough Recruitment (Hong Kong) Pty Limited is seeking a Senior Manager - Data Centre IT/OT to own regional IT/OT infrastructure strategy and operations across a portfolio of data centres in Hong Kong.

The role leads design, delivery, commissioning and ongoing operation of resilient, secure, scalable IT/OT environments supporting hyperscale facilities, with emphasis on standardisation, IaC and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or related field; Master's preferred.
• 10+ years' experience in mission-critical 24x7 IT cloud, infrastructure, and network platforms in a regulated environment.
• Senior expertise in technology strategy, governance, and operating models for mission-critical environments.
• Strong understanding of hyperscale/co-location data centre technology, cyber security, systems, and infrastructure.
• Advanced knowledge: IT infrastructure and cloud services—network, compute, storage, virtualization, containers, CI/CD, IaC.
• Strong OT knowledge: BMS, EPMS, SCADA, physical access control, CCTV.
• Expert knowledge of cyber/information security frameworks applied to data centres and OT.
• Familiarity with EAM, CMMS, and BIM systems.
• Understanding of HK regulations for critical infrastructure and ISO 27001 ISMS.
• Proven track record delivering multi-vendor tech projects and leading operations teams.
• Certifications: CISSP, CCIE, ITIL, AWS.

Responsibilities

• Strategy & Architecture: Develop regional Data Centre Technology strategy and operating model.
• Design & Delivery: Lead IT/OT design and implementation for new data centre projects.
• Operations: Run 24x7 tech support; manage incidents and improvements.
• Cyber Security & Compliance: Define cyber security strategy; ensure ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS adherence.
• Cloud & Integration: Build cloud platforms for secure integration with central systems.
• Vendor & Service Management: Manage partners, SLAs, and budgets.
• Leadership: Build the Data Centre Technology team and escalation path.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Advise senior leadership and contractors across project phases.
