Job summary

Gough Recruitment (Hong Kong) Pty Limited has partnered with a leading global data centre developer to appoint a Senior Construction Manager in Hong Kong. The role oversees end-to-end construction from planning through handover, delivering complex data centre projects on schedule and within budget.

You will lead design development, procurement, contractor management, on-site supervision, and governance reporting while upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced APAC environment.

Qualifications

• Senior construction project management experience, preferably in data centres or mission-critical environments.
• Strong CSA and MEP background with familiarity with data centre infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering, or equivalent proven experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and schedule.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong digital competence and proficiency in project management tools.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• English fluency essential; additional regional language highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all construction phases from design through to handover.
• Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and resources against milestones.
• Select, negotiate, and manage contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Monitor site progress, ensure safety compliance and quality.
• Review and approve construction documents, change orders, and payments.
• Serve as primary stakeholder contact with regular updates and governance reporting.
• Drive cost control, value engineering, and standardized financial tracking.
• Embed a robust safety culture and enforce HS protocols.
