Job summary

China Telecom Global seeks an experienced Data Center Operations professional in Hong Kong to oversee 7x24 utility continuity, supervise contractors, and manage data center facilities. The role emphasizes hands-on fault handling and ISO/UPTIME compliant maintenance.

You will coordinate with vendors, draft specifications and tender documents, and support feasibility studies, design, and commissioning for customer projects.

Qualifications

• University degree or diploma in mechanical, electrical, building management or similar field.
• Minimum 8 years of related technical experience in data center construction, operation or maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of Data Centre Infrastructure operations, especially chilled water systems.
• Experience with fault diagnosis equipment and fault handling.
• Vendor and customer management experience.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Strong problem solving and hands-on abilities.
• Willingness to have a global mindset and open-mindedness.

Responsibilities

• Handle data center infrastructure operation and maintenance, supervising contractors to ensure 7x24 utility continuity (air-conditioning, electrical, BMS, water, sewerage, drainage).
• Operate hands-on, perform fault handling, report faults and follow up per ISO and UPTIME M&O requirements.
• Participate in vendor management, define system/equipment specs, tender documents, and daily operations and changes of data center facilities.
• Support DC project feasibility studies, design, solution development, project management, bidding documents, and testing/commissioning for customers.
