Job summary

Amazon Data Services Hong Kong Limited is seeking a Data Center Facilities Operator to join the on-site team in Hong Kong. You will support 24x7 data center operations, interface with external providers, and help maintain critical infrastructure across chillers, electrical systems, and security controls.

The role requires hands-on electrical or mechanical experience, knowledge of HVAC and safety procedures, and readiness to work shifts and on-call responsibilities in a high-demand facility

Qualifications

1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience.
Knowledge of mechanical room infrastructure such as chillers, cooling equipment, and fan controls.
Knowledge of key electrical competencies and theory.

Responsibilities

Act as interface with Colocation provider's technical and facility teams to address day-to-day operational requirements.
Monitor Colocation suppliers' routine maintenance and respond to emergencies for critical systems.
Generate change management requests and incident tickets for Data Center facilities.
Engage in on-call responsibilities and respond to emergencies or incidents.
Work with Colocation providers and contractors to resolve infra engineering issues and perform root cause analysis.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and participate in facility operations activities.
