Job summary

World Wide Technology is seeking a Data Centre Infrastructure Technical Analyst in Hong Kong to manage on-site data center facilities and communications infrastructure. You will be responsible for installation, maintenance and support across data centers and carrier circuits, ensuring reliability, security and adherence to corporate standards.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of PDUs, SAN and network gear, plus TCP/IP and WAN concepts.

Qualifications

3+ years implementing, maintaining and analyzing data center facilities and infrastructure.
Experience with PDUs, RPPs, network and SAN infrastructures in enterprise environments.
Strong knowledge of WAN technologies, subnetting and TCP/IP.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Familiar with ticketing systems, change control and project processes.
Experience with project management and cross-functional coordination.
Financial services industry knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

Install, de-install, relocate all data center hardware and network equipment in the Americas Data Centers within SLAs.
Install/de-install/extend/relocate/testing of carrier circuits to network hardware.
Install/de-install/relocate patch cabling for systems and network hardware.
Assist with cabinet power, circuit, and patch infrastructure installations with facilities/vendors.
Coordinate network component configurations and SAN cabling infrastructure.
Manage network ports and consumables; maintain data center facilities integrity.
Provide hands-on, break/fix level 2 support for data center systems and communications environments.
Coordinate and approve data center infrastructure change controls and ensure compliance with standards.
