Job summary

China Telecom Global in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Data Center Facilities Engineer to oversee 7x24 operation and maintenance of critical utilities, including air conditioning, electrical, building management, water, sewerage and drainage.

You will handle fault diagnosis and response per ISO and Uptime M&O requirements, supervise contractors, and participate in vendor management, system specifications, tenders, and project changes.

Qualifications

• University degree or diploma in mechanical, electrical, building management or similar field.
• 8+ years of technical experience in data center construction, operation or maintenance.
• Knowledge of Data Centre Infrastructure operation, especially Chilled Water Systems; REWH(0) preferred.
• Experience using power or mechanical meter fault diagnosis equipment.
• Vendor and customer coordination experience.
• Proficient in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; hands-on ability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 7x24 data center infrastructure operations and maintenance.
• Supervise contractors ensuring continuous utilities across air-conditioning, electrical, building management, water and drainage systems.
• Participate in vendor management, system specifications, tender documents, daily operation and change control.
• Support data center projects from feasibility study through design, solution, project management, bidding, testing and commissioning.
