Job summary

STARTEAM GLOBAL seeks an experienced Order Management professional in Hong Kong to support Sales and manage ERP data across the order lifecycle. You will track consignments, coordinate with logistics, and ensure on-time order fulfilment while maintaining accurate records and driving continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, cross-functional collaboration, and proactive communication with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Able to work effectively under time pressure and deadline driven within a fast-paced, dynamic and customer-oriented environment.
• Superior in organization and priority setting, accurate with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and manage complex situations.
• Negotiation skills and the ability to persuade and influence business partners and peers in critical situations to obtain consensus.
• Excellent command in spoken and written English and local language.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, ERP system experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Sales team to maintain Customer Master Data and Specific Information in ERP if required.
• Maintain life cycle for items from NPI to awarded.
• Handle all order management operations and ensure data accuracy in ERP.
• Follow-up demand signals orders & agreements (Consignments, Delivery Schedules, KANBAN, Frame Contracts).
• Take physical inventory of consignment stock if required.
• Coordinate with logistics on special transport and packing lists.
• Ensure on-time delivery through internal coordination with global offices.
• Support claim handling related to orders.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Management on supplier issues and improvements.
• Support EQ handling and cross-department coordination.
• Monitor order booking performance and provide forecast updates to suppliers.
• Analyze forecast vs. actual orders and share deviations with Sales for follow-up.
• Participate in sales meetings and customer visits as needed.
• Track order status to ensure on-time, accurate shipments.
• Monitor factory fill-rates and adjust capacity per strategy.
• Follow up payment status with customer and resolve overdue payments.
