Job summary

GF Holdings (Hong Kong) Corporation Ltd is seeking a risk professional to oversee margin financing risk, monitor daily market movements, and trigger margin calls when necessary.

You will prepare credit proposals, conduct industry research, and support senior management with approvals, while monitoring listed companies and maintaining daily and monthly reports. The role requires strong numerical/analytical skills and bilingual English/Mandarin proficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a sizeable financial/securities broker.
• Solid understanding of prior exposure to US stock options and related risk monitoring is a strong advantage.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities; proficient in MS Excel.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.
• CFA/FRM qualification or progress toward these qualifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage risk for margin financing by monitoring daily market moves and performing margin calls when necessary.
• Prepare credit proposals, industry research and valuation for senior management approval.
• Ongoing monitoring of listed companies and suggesting marginable grading of stocks.
• Provide support on credit administration and daily credit admin duties.
• Prepare approval documents and the Daily and Monthly Reports.
• Prepare and check the loan facilities offer letters for client loans.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects.
