Job summary

Leadingnation in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced risk management professional to join our banking and securities trading team. You will monitor daily risk on the proprietary trading portfolio and oversee margin facilities.

The role requires a degree in Business or Finance, 5+ years of banking/securities experience, and strong English, Chinese and Mandarin communication. Immediate availability and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

Degree in Business, Finance or related discipline.
5+ years in banking or securities trading with margin finance, futures and options operations.
SFC rules knowledge is an advantage.
Proficiency in Word & Excel (MS Office).
Fluent in English, Chinese and Mandarin.
Fast and accurate typing in English and Chinese.
Immediate availability highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare notices on overdue trades and follow up with sales team.
Monitor account performance and margin calls; issue written demands; report irregularities and recommend forced sale to protect company interests.
Analyze new applications and renewals for margin facilities; seek approval from head of Risk Management and senior management.
Ensure annual renewal letters for securities lending/borrowing are issued before expiry.
Conduct daily risk monitoring on the proprietary trading portfolio.
Handle ad hoc projects as assigned.
