Job summary

GF Securities (Hong Kong) is seeking a seasoned risk management professional to oversee the margin financing business, monitor daily market movements and execute margin calls when needed.

The role involves preparing credit proposals, conducting industry research and valuation for Senior Management approval, and ongoing monitoring of listed companies to assess marginability; strong MS Excel skills and fluency in English and Mandarin are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Risk Management or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a sizable financial/securities & brokerage company.
• CFA/FRM qualification or progress toward these qualifications is a plus.

• Responsible for risk management of margin financing business, including monitoring daily market movement and perform margin call if necessary.
• Preparing credit proposals, industrial research and analysis, valuation for Senior Management’s approval;

• Provide support on credit administration and handle daily credit admin duties;
• Prepare approval documents and also the Daily and Monthly Reports;

• With CFA/FRM qualification or progress towards these qualifications is a plus.
