Job summary

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in the financial services industry with direct margin financing experience.
Experience in a First Line of Defense control, credit risk, or risk analysis is highly preferred.
Solid understanding of Hong Kong and US stock markets and margin financing risks.
Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin.
Bachelor degree or higher; higher degree in Finance/Engineering advantageous.

Responsibilities

Assist with financing limit and margin ratio applications and monitor margin exposure across client portfolios.
Develop, maintain and upgrade internal margin financing policies and operational guidelines.
Negotiate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Operations on bespoke margin loan transactions.
Explore and expand alternative financing frameworks including reverse SBL, repo, swaps and other structures.
Prepare margin financing materials, client profiles, case studies and investor education resources.
