NexusSearch International Limited is seeking an experienced Credit Risk professional to lead underwriting, policy development, and risk controls for margin financing, IPO loans, and secured lending. The role emphasizes compliance with SFC Type 8 and robust collateral management.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of credit risk experience in HK retail brokerage, strong Excel skills, and fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin to communicate with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Risk related field; FRM/CFA preferred.
• 6+ years of credit risk experience at HK retail securities broker with margin financing exposure.
• Strong knowledge of SFC Type 8 licensing rules and Financial Resources Rules.
• Experience monitoring HK/US stock collateral and IPO grey market lending portfolios.
• Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with brokerage risk systems.

Responsabilités

• Draft and update SFC-compliant credit policies for margin financing, IPO loans, stock and bullion secured lending.
• Conduct credit underwriting, assess client financial status, set credit limits and collateral haircuts.
• Daily monitor portfolio LTV, single-stock concentration, volatile collateral and overdue margin accounts.
• Oversee margin calls, early warning and forced liquidation workflows.
• Run portfolio stress tests and prepare weekly/monthly credit risk MIS for Risk Committee and senior management.
• Collaborate with branches, compliance, operations and IT to optimise risk control systems.
• Handle delinquent accounts, design recovery procedures and recommend bad debt provisions.
• Supervise credit analysts, review assessment reports and deliver regulatory training

Key Responsibilities

• Draft & update SFC-compliant credit policies for margin financing, IPO loans, stock & bullion secured lending
