Job summary

HKT is seeking an experienced sales professional to manage wholesale accounts in Hong Kong's fixed connectivity and network infrastructure sectors. You will drive sales targets, develop account plans, and coordinate with internal teams.

The role requires 5+ years in telecom or datacenter sales, strong English/Cantonese/Putonghua, and knowledge of connectivity, DIA, and security products. Candidates with less experience may be Account Manager.

Qualifications

• Degree or Higher Diploma in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• At least 5 years’ sales experience with carriers/datacenter customers and proven results.
• Good knowledge of telecom product portfolio for carrier/datacenter market (connectivity, dark fiber, DIA, etc.).
• High proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
• Knowledge of Data Connectivity, Mobile, Cloud, and Security products is an advantage.
• Excellent account servicing, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, energetic and result-oriented.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; AI aptitude is a plus.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered as Account Manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage and serve assigned Wholesale Accounts to achieve Sales Targets/KPI in local fixed connectivity business, network infrastructure/fiber projects.
• Identify new business opportunities and strengthen account stickiness through effective account development plans.
• Build rapport and long-term trustful relationships with customers including Telcos, datacenter operators, local/oversea carriers.
• Handle ad hoc projects as assigned.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market competition, and new technologies to seize opportunities.
• Coordinate internal parties to resolve pre-sales and post-sales issues (pricing, project planning, compliance, billing, service delivery).
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure contracts comply with legal requirements, policies and procedures.
