Qualifications

• Degree holder in Marketing, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Professional qualification of Associateship of CII and/or ANZIIF an advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, 5 years in supervisory role in general insurance business.
• Sound knowledge of general insurance products and insurer operations.
• Self-motivated with strong leadership and people management skills.
• Good command of English and Chinese (Putonghua).
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the business development team and work with bank units and branches to solicit general insurance opportunities (personal and commercial).
• Formulate and execute strategic plans to achieve department goals and budgets.
• Offer rates and terms per insurer guidelines and authorities.
• Supervise quotations services and ensure timely responses.
• Assist in pre-renewal activities and take necessary actions.
• Coach and train subordinates; explore other distribution channels.
• Collaborate with support teams to improve operational efficiency.
