Job summary

Rise Associates Asia Limited in Hong Kong seeks a Building Services Manager to lead building services for large residential developments, ensuring design, installation, and commissioning across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.

You will oversee external consultants and contractors, monitor safety and quality, align with HK building codes and authorities, and deliver sustainable, compliant handover.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in building services engineering, with solid residential development exposure.
• In-depth knowledge of HK building services codes and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage building services works for comprehensive development projects.
• Provide technical guidance on design, installation, and commissioning of building services systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing & drainage, fire protection, ELV).
• Manage performance and quality of external consultancies, main contractors, and vendors.
• Oversee technical specs, drawings, and cost estimates developed by consultants and architects.
• Monitor site progress, ensure quality control, identify risks, and take corrective action as needed.
• Ensure compliance with HK codes, regulations, and safety standards; manage authority inspections (FSD, WSD, EMSD) for clearance and handover.
