Job summary

CUHK Medical Centre Limited is seeking a Manager, Building Management to lead a frontline maintenance team and oversee planning, execution, and compliance of building projects in a demanding environment. The role emphasizes strong project management, coordination with departments, and adherence to statutory requirements.

The candidate should have a Building Surveying degree and professional accreditation (MHKIS/MRICS), with extensive experience in inspection, maintenance, and large-scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Building Surveying or equivalent.
• MHKIS/MRICS qualification or equivalent; RPS preferred.
• At least 5 years’ experience in building inspection, repairs & maintenance, and fitting-out/A&A projects; 3 years post-chartership.
• Solid project management experience as client’s representative on complex fitting-out/A&A projects.
• Experience in facilities planning/design, tender docs preparation, tendering, site supervision and contract administration.
• Familiar with international and local building management standards, compliance, and licensing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage frontline maintenance team for day-to-day maintenance orders.
• Plan, manage, and implement fitting out and renovation/A&A projects.
• Support department users in project planning and design.
• Provide input on repair and maintenance of building structure and fabric, including water proofing.
• Formulate plans and conduct building inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with Building Ordinance and licensing requirements.
• Attend emergency calls, on-call duties, and irregular hours as required.
• Perform duties as Manager, Building Management as assigned.
