Job summary

The Hong Kong Institute of Architects is seeking an Architect / Senior Architect in Hong Kong to lead design and supervision of building projects in compliance with local codes.

You will plan, design, and coordinate all stages, supervise construction, and chair client and site meetings while ensuring quality and budget adherence.

Applicants should have at least 3 years post-graduate experience; AP qualification will be considered senior; fluent in Chinese and English.

Qualifications

• 3+ years post-graduate experience or equivalent
• AP qualification may qualify for senior level
• Strong planning, design and contract administration skills
• Sound knowledge of construction details and regulations
• Proficiency in Chinese and English (spoken and written)

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and supervise erection of buildings per regulations
• Coordinate work of allied disciplines on projects
• Lead client meetings and site visits; manage documentation and supervision across project stages
