Job summary

China Overseas Land & Investment Ltd. in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Architect to lead the full project development lifecycle from feasibility through handover, ensuring premium design and brand alignment.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, review drawings and submissions for quality, and manage budget risks while liaising with government authorities to secure timely approvals. Proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Architecture or related discipline.
• HKIA membership or AP status is advantageous.
• Minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience with major developers or top-tier practices on large-scale local projects.
• Deep understanding of local regulations, land administration, and real estate market.
• Strong leadership, analytical problem-solving, and negotiation skills; able to work under pressure.
• Excellent command of English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of project development from feasibility studies to handover.
• Rigorously review drawings, submissions, and method statements to ensure design intent.
• Lead external teams including lead architects, structural/MEP, QS and main contractors.
• Liaise with government authorities to secure timely submissions and compliance.
• Monitor budget, manage variations, and resolve design clashes to mitigate delays.
