Job summary

Morgan Half International (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a senior Architect/Project Lead to drive high-profile architectural and interior projects from concept to completion. You will oversee documentation, design execution, and client presentations in a fast-paced studio environment.

The role requires a professional architecture degree and at least seven years of post-qualification experience with strong HK project background, plus proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• 7+ years post-qualification experience on large-scale projects with Hong Kong experience.

• Experience in budgeting, contract administration and change management.
• Familiarity with LEED/WELL sustainability frameworks.

Team & Resource Management

Mentor and guide project teams, fostering a collaborative studio environment.

Develop project programmes, manage budgets, and optimize resource allocation in tandem with directors.

Stakeholder & Consultant Coordination

Serve as the primary design lead for client presentations, stakeholder engagements, and user consultations.

Coordinate cross-functional specialist consultants (MEP, Lighting, Acoustics, RSE+AP) and maintain project risk registers.

Commercial & Strategic Management

Lead tender processes, value engineering strategies, and contract administration, including change order and claim evaluations.

Contribute to strategic studio growth, business development, and client relationship management.

Job Requirements

Experience & Education

Professional degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field with a minimum of 7 years post-qualification experience.

Proven track record leading complex, large-scale projects, with essential Hong Kong project experience.

Technical & Operational Expertise

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Strong background in project budget development; experience in contract administration and workplace change management is a plus.

Familiarity with sustainability frameworks (LEED, WELL) is highly advantageous.

Core Competencies

Fluent in English (Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus).
