Job summary

China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Resident Architect for the Kwu Tung North construction site. The role focuses on on-site supervision of architectural works, ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications, and coordinating with the Project Manager and site staff.

Qualified candidates must be Registered Architects in Hong Kong with a minimum of five years post-qualification experience in supervision and coordination of construction projects.

Qualifications

• RA must be a Registered Architect in Hong Kong.
• Minimum 5 years post-professional experience in supervision and coordination of construction projects.
• Familiar with on-site and off-site construction processes.
• Strong communication and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Watch and inspect materials and workmanship on-site/off-site to ensure compliance with specs and drawings.
• Identify defective materials and coordinate tests.
• Communicate with Project Manager and site staff on architectural work.
• Resolve on-site architectural difficulties to keep progress with minimal disruption.
• Report unusual matters to Project Manager for direction.
• Maintain site records and coordinate checks of architectural works.
• Monitor progress and provide timely information to avoid delays.
• Coordinate builder’s works with building services and draft working drawings.
• Submit for acceptance any architectural details or temporary works.
• Attend regular and ad hoc meetings.
