Job summary

PURPLE Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our Lifestyle team. You will manage luxury PR programs, lead multiple accounts, and collaborate with senior leaders to deliver creative, media-driven campaigns.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in lifestyle or luxury PR, strong traditional Chinese writing, Cantonese fluency, and a solid network with local publications and editors in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant working experience.
• Lifestyle, F&B or luxury PR experience is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of local publications, editors, and influencers.

Responsibilities

• Media monitoring daily and timely updates to clients on press and social coverage.
• Proactively pursue media coverage opportunities with product placement in main editorials and product-led news placement.
• Engage KOLs to secure product placement on both an organic and paid basis.
• Participate in the creation of communications plans.
• Navigate partnership and collaboration opportunities.
• Develop weekly and monthly media reports for clients.
• Support AM’s on communication with all clients, building rapport and credibility based on trust and expert counsel.
• Oversee and compile weekly client agendas and reports.
• Proactively pitch story ideas to achieve maximum editorial placement across brands.
• Facilitate day-to-day function of each account team, providing support as required.
• Support campaigns from conception to completion.
• Brainstorm creative publicity ideas to enhance PR campaigns.
• Assist with media appointments, research, and company events.
• Consistently produce high-quality internal and external communications content.
• Analyse coverage across online, offline and blogs; leverage value from PR activity.
• Research brands, products and industry to support client plans and proposals.

Key Responsibilities

• Media monitoring on a daily basis and responsible for timely updates to clients on all achieved press and social media coverage.
• Proactively pursue media coverage opportunities with a focus on product placement in main editorials and product‑led news placement.
• Engage KOLs to secure product placement on both an organic and paid for basis.
• Participating in the creation of communications plans.
• Navigating partnership and collaboration opportunities.

• Facilitate the smooth running of the day‑to‑day function of each account team, providing support as requested and required.
• Support your line managers with PR campaigns for diverse clients from conception to completion.
• Brainstorm creative ideas and generate publicity strategies to enhance PR campaigns, going beyond the role of the press office.
• Assisting with media appointments, research projects, and company events.
• Consistently producing high‑quality internal and external communications content.
• Analyse coverage across online, offline and blogs, and leverage added value from all PR activity.
• Conduct research on both brands, products and industry to support the development of client plans and new business proposals.

Skills and Experience

• 2‑3 years of relevant working experience.
• Lifestyle, F&B or luxury PR experience is preferred.
• Superior knowledge of luxury consumer industry.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Excellent written skill of Traditional Chinese and spoken skill of Cantonese is essential.
• Basic written and spoken skill of English is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of local publications, editors, and influencers is required.
