Job summary

Michael Page (Hong Kong) seeks an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile teams in delivering system and application solutions. You will work with Product Owners, BA's and technology partners to refine requirements, create user stories and drive sprint goals in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on Agile leadership, strong facilitation skills and proficiency with Jira/Confluence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience leading Scrum teams in Agile environments.
• Deep understanding of Agile principles, values and frameworks including Scrum, Kanban and scaled Agile.
• Proven ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies and coordinate multiple teams.
• Proficiency with Agile delivery and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence and X-Ray.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to coach teams on Agile best practices and foster high-performing self-organizing culture.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational and facilitation skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
• Agile certifications such as PSM, CSM are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver system and application solutions.
• Work with Product Owners and Business Analysts to define user stories and translate business needs into deliverables.
• Facilitate collaboration and consensus-building among business users and technology teams.
• Lead all Scrum ceremonies and keep teams focused on sprint objectives and continuous improvement.
• Support QA and testing activities by defining test strategies and ensuring requirements meet standards.
• Identify and remove delivery impediments while guiding sprint execution.
• Track roadmaps, sprint progress, release plans and milestones.
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies and Scrum of Scrums when needed.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to maximize business value and ensure delivery success.
• Ensure adherence to governance, risk, compliance and delivery standards.

Job Description

As a Scrum Master, your main responsibilities will include:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience serving and leading Scrum teams in Agile environments.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to balance business priorities, delivery timelines, development effort, and risk.

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and facilitation skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a dynamic and evolving environment.
• Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
• Agile certifications such as PSM, CSM, or advanced-level Agile credentials are highly preferred.
• Experience within the financial services or insurance industry is advantageous.
