About the role
Assistant Manager, Agile Scrum Master / Delivery Lead responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving successful project delivery within an organization.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate standard Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Coordinate with business, technology, and vendor teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Track sprint progress, velocity, deliverables, and project milestones using Jira/Confluence.
- Identify, manage, and elevate risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers to ensure uninhibited team throughput.
- Support backlog grooming and prioritization activities in collaboration with Product Owners and key stakeholders.
- Monitor overall delivery status and provide regular progress reports and updates to the PMO.
- Drive continuous process improvements and foster Agile best practices across delivery squads.
- Coordinate release planning and implementation activities seamlessly across cross-functional teams and external vendors.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related disciplines.
- 3-5 years of project delivery experience as a Scrum Master, Agile PM, or Delivery Lead.
- Prior exposure to Financial Services, Insurance, or Large Enterprise Digital Transformation in HK is highly preferred.
- Active Agile certification (CSM, PSM I, or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Demonstrated ability to manage vendors and coordinate across business and technology domains.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus.
