Job summary

Michael Page International (HK) Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking a Scrum Master to guide Agile delivery within the Technology department of an Insurance organisation. You will help teams plan work, remove blockers and improve flow of digital initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Track sprint progress and communicate risks, dependencies and changes to plans.
• Use retrospectives to drive concrete improvements and adoption in future sprints.
• Encourage clear communication between delivery teams and business stakeholders.
• Maintain Agile delivery records, including sprint plans, actions and progress updates.

Description

As a Scrum Master, your main responsibilities will include:

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives to maintain a clear delivery rhythm.
• Work with Technology teams to organise backlogs, priorities and sprint commitments for focused delivery.
• Remove delivery blockers by coordinating with relevant stakeholders and following actions through to resolution.
• Promote Agile ways of working across the team, helping colleagues apply Scrum practices consistently.
• Track sprint progress and highlight delivery risks, dependencies and changes that may affect agreed plans.
• Use retrospectives to identify practical improvements and support their adoption in future sprints.
• Encourage clear communication between delivery teams and business stakeholders throughout each sprint.
• Maintain clear Agile delivery records, including sprint plans, actions and progress updates.

Profile

A successful Scrum Master should have:

• Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Practical knowledge of Agile and Scrum principles.
• Ability to manage sprint backlogs, priorities and delivery dependencies.
• Experience identifying and resolving blockers that affect team delivery.
• Ability to track progress and communicate delivery risks clearly.
• Experience supporting continuous improvement through retrospective actions.
