Job summary

The ISF Academy in Hong Kong invites applications for an IT Manager, Systems and Operations to lead and manage our critical IT infrastructure across the school.

You will oversee virtualization, storage, networking, security, backups, and cloud services such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Entra ID, collaborating with teachers and admin staff.

The role requires a degree in IT/CS and 2–3+ years in system administration and networks, with strong English, Cantonese and Mandarin communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in system administration and network infrastructure.
• Proficient in Windows Server, Linux, macOS, Active Directory, and network protocols.
• Familiar with cloud platforms and services including Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Google Workspace Administration.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with strategic infrastructure planning and technology road mapping; good communication in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Self-motivated, mature team player able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain virtualization platforms, storage systems, and network infrastructure.
• Perform regular data backups and implement system upgrades.
• Configure and maintain firewalls, antivirus, and spam filtering tools to ensure robust network and security management.
• Monitor system performance and address security alerts, phishing activities, and malware threats.
• Maintain records of system configurations and incident logs, and prepare periodic reports on system health and performance.
• Support Active Directory, ADFS, SSO, and MFA configurations; manage Microsoft 365 and Google administration platforms.
• Collaborate with teammates and provide IT support for end-user hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Coordinate with external vendors for system fixes, upgrades, and maintenance.
