Job summary

iTalent Company in Hong Kong is seeking a Systems & Security Engineer to manage core IT systems and drive information security initiatives in a school setting.

You will administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and Azure, manage identity access, and support endpoint security and cloud technologies while coordinating audits and risk reviews.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in systems admin or related IT roles
• Hands-on with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and Azure environments
• Solid knowledge of IAM, endpoint and cloud security controls
• Familiarity with security monitoring tools and Defender solutions
• Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Security+) are a plus

System & Security Engineer - International School / up to 40K

A well-established international school in Hong Kong with a technology-focused learning environment. They are looking for a Systems & Security Engineer to manage core IT systems while supporting information security controls, compliance and cybersecurity initiatives.

Your role:

Administer and support Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Azure and related cloud services

Manage user accounts, identity and access, endpoint configuration, email security and system administration activities

Support core IT infrastructure, endpoint protection platforms, device management and other technology systems

Review information security controls, policies and processes, and coordinate audit, compliance and risk management activities

Work with the SOC and technology teams on security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management and remediation

Promote security awareness, maintain documentation and support continuous improvement of IT and security operations

Requirements:

Around 5 years’ experience in systems administration, infrastructure support, Microsoft 365 administration or related IT roles

Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune and Azure environments

Solid knowledge of identity and access management, endpoint security, email security and cloud administration

Familiarity with firewalls, Microsoft Defender, endpoint protection or security monitoring tools is an advantage

CISSP, CISM, Security+, AZ-500, SC-200, SC-300 or equivalent security certification is a big plus

Security operations, audit or compliance experience is preferred but extensive hands-on security experience is not essential

Familiarity with macOS, iPadOS and Apple device management solutions is an advantage

Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills

Proactive, detail-oriented and able to work independently in a school environment
