Job summary

Sheraton & Four Points by Sheraton Hong Kong Tung Chung is seeking a dynamic sales professional to drive group and catering opportunities, negotiate contracts, and close business for the property. The ideal candidate has a minimum of five years in large-scale hotel sales, a relevant diploma, and strong English; Cantonese would be an advantage, with the ability to build relationships and deliver results.

Qualifications

• High Diploma in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in large-scale hotel operation or related area.
• Good command of conversational English; Cantonese would be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand market trends and competition to identify opportunities for the property.
• Respond to group and catering inquiries and negotiate contracts.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, and customer communications to close business.
• Support operational aspects of bookings from inquiry to execution.

Job Summary:

• Understands the overall market - competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.
• Responds to incoming group/catering opportunities for the property
• Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts
• Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g.generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence)
