Job summary

Encore is a global event technologies company shaping the future of events by delivering virtual, in-person and hybrid experiences. This role focuses on strengthening ties with venues, clients and brands to drive successful events and profitable revenue.

You will educate clients on suitable audio‑visual setups, align crews with presentations, and identify new business opportunities to meet financial targets, all while maintaining strong KPI performance and open communication with venue teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event sales.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent relationship builder and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of audio‑visual equipment.
• Excellent negotiating and relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with venue, brand and clients to ensure successful client relations and smooth running of all events.
• Educate and advise clients and venue staff on the most appropriate audio‑visual equipment and the necessary crew to best meet their presentation needs and budget.
• Work with the venue to identify new business opportunities and develop a strategic approach to win business.
• Maximise profitable revenue and support the Director of Event Technology to achieve financial targets.
• Understand and work within the parameters of agreed KPI’s for the venue.
• Constantly communicate with the venue team to ensure they understand the business’ direction and objectives.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a strong relationship exists between our onsite team and venue management as well as generating profitable revenue within the applicable venues.
