Job summary

Asdor Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced events leader to drive end-to-end event delivery in Hong Kong. You will conceptualize, plan and execute complex events, while managing client relationships and ensuring profitable outcomes across multiple projects.

The role requires strong leadership, superb organizational skills, and fluency in English. You will oversee pre-event planning, budgeting, vendor coordination and post-event reviews to continually improve performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in event management, experiential marketing, exhibitions, conferences or related areas.
  • 1–2 years in supervisory or managerial capacity is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, planning and budgeting capabilities; client-focused and stakeholder-facing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the conceptualization, planning, management and execution of events from initial brief through to successful completion
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while acting as a key strategic and operational point of contact
  • Lead and participate in the RFP and pitching process, including proposal development, event concepts, budgeting, presentations and negotiations
  • Oversee all aspects of pre-event planning, including venue sourcing, production requirements, manpower planning, logistics, permits, vendors and event schedules
  • Take accountability for the financial performance of assigned projects and ensure targeted margins are achieved
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of execution and attention to detail
  • Conduct regular project reviews and ensure proper communication and coordination across internal teams, vendors and stakeholders
  • Develop fresh, innovative and engaging event concepts that respond to client objectives and industry trends
  • Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities within existing accounts and contributing to new-business pitches
  • Conduct post-event reviews, evaluate project performance and implement improvements for future events

About the role

About you
  • Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Events Management, Advertising/Media, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Mass Communications, Marketing or an equivalent discipline

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in event management, experiential marketing, exhibitions, conferences, activations or a related field

  • At least 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory, team-lead or managerial capacity

  • Confident and experienced event professional with strong leadership and project management capabilities

  • Meticulous, highly organized and capable of managing several complex projects at the same time

  • Commercially minded, with a good understanding of project costing, budgeting and profitability

  • Client-focused, professional and comfortable managing senior stakeholders

  • Proactive, resourceful and calm when handling challenges in fast-paced event environments

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word

  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills in English
