Job summary

Boston Scientific Hong Kong is seeking a Sales Executive to grow the customer base for medical devices. You will visit customers, promote products and services, and work with the sales team to meet monthly, quarterly and yearly targets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science and at least 1 year of relevant experience, with strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with hospital management, purchasing staff and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Biomedical field is required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in sales in medical devices or related industry.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with hospitals and purchasing staff.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers and/or potential customers to promote products and services and achieve sales targets.
• Manage existing and acquire new customers in the assigned territory under supervision.
• Plan and develop market for existing and new products in line with divisional goals and optimize tools available (consignment, etc).
• Provide ongoing technical training and support to customers in the field.
• Cultivate relationships with hospital management, purchasing departments and staff.
• Attend meetings, conferences and exhibitions to promote products and services.
• Analyze and report market feedback monthly and yearly to the Manager using available tools.
• Represent Boston Scientific values and integrity.
• May lead a project team of moderate scope upon request.

Sales Executive, Hong Kong

• Develop further as professional sales rep by acquiring working knowledge and selling techniques. Able to tackle a variety of issues, general knowledge in medical device industry (BSC and competitors).
• Visit customers and/or potential customers of Boston Scientific on a regular and planned basis to promote products and services to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets, as agreed with the Manager.
• Manage existing and acquire new customers in the assigned territory under general supervision of the Manager.
• With limited instructions of Manager, plan and develop the market for our existing and new products according with divisional goals and objectives, through execution, while optimize available tools (consignment, etc).
• Provide ongoing technical training and support to customers directly in the field
• Cultivate wide range of business relationships with hospital management, purchasing department and hospital staff.
• Attend meetings, conferences and exhibitions as required to promote Boston Scientific products and services.
• Analyze and report to the Manager and/or others (monthly & year basis) the market and business feedback by using all available support tools.
• To represent Boston Scientific values and integrity.
• Upon request may lead a project team of moderate scope.

Academic Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, preferably major in Biomedical / Biomedical Engineer / Biomedical Science

Experience

• At least 1 year relevant experience. If less experience, you may apply to our 10-month Sales Trainee Program.
