Job summary

Shangri-La Group is seeking a Sales Executive to support COE Sales in driving commercial activities, account servicing, and business development across designated market segments in Hong Kong. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve revenue targets and cultivate key client relationships.

The role requires 2–3 years in hotel sales, strong organization and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office and Chinese word processing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, events management or related field.
  • 2–3 years of hotel sales experience; reservations and front office background is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented and a team player.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Act as part of COE Sales to support commercial sales activities, account servicing and business development across designated market segments.
  • Support the Department Head in executing sales plans, account strategies, and achieving revenue targets.
  • Identify and develop business opportunities within the China market and build strong client relationships.
  • Assist in planning and executing marketing strategies, campaigns, and budgets.
  • Coordinate familiarization trips (FAM) and drive business exposure.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth communication and awareness of sales activities and bookings.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned by the supervisors.

About The Role

As a Sales Executive, you will be supporting the Team by coordinating day-to-day sales activities and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as part of COE Sales to support commercial sales activities, account servicing and business development efforts across designated market segments.
  • Support the Department Head in executing sales plans, account strategies, and achieving revenue targets.
  • Identify and develop business opportunities within the China market and build strong client relationships.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing strategies, campaigns, and budgets.
  • Coordinate familiarization trips (FAM) and drive business exposure.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth communication and awareness of sales activities and bookings.

About You
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Events Management or other related disciplines.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant Hotel sales experience, background in Reservations and Front Office operations would be definitely an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated team player.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Chinese Word Processing
  • Excellent command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
