Job summary

Lufthansa Cargo AG in Hong Kong seeks a Cargo Sales Representative to drive revenue by developing cargo sales and providing excellent customer service across partner networks.

You will handle bookings, quotations, CRM updates, and collaborate with sales teams. A degree is required; 2–3 years in cargo sales or related service is preferred, with fluent English and Cantonese, Putonghua a plus; shift work including weekends/public holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in any discipline.
• 2–3 years cargo sales and/or customer service experience or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese; Putonghua is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform flight planning tasks to optimize revenues, e.g. cargo load planning.
• Perform sales activities on joint venture partner airline capacity.
• Help customers to find the right product & pro-actively sells transport solutions in collaboration with Handling department and Outside Sales.
• Process customer requests and bookings according to the Cargo Booking Manual.
• Book standard and special products including OAL segments and conduct loadability & profitability checks before rate offering.
• Make quotations for ad hoc pricing requests following the given guidelines.
• Process charter requests with Network-on-Demand team.
• Manage account data in CRM and communicate updates.
• Contribute to acquiring new business accounts from inbound calls.
• Support sales team to achieve revenue and other annual budgets.
• Join Outside Sales Representative on sales visits as required.
• Share market information with Outside Sales Representative & Sales Manager.

Job description

· Processes customer requests, performs bookings according to the Cargo Booking Manual.

· Booking standard & special products which includes OAL (other airline) segments & conducts loadability & profitability check before rate offering.

· Make quotations for ad hoc pricing requests following the agreed guideline from team meetings.

· Processes charter requests with Network-on-Demand team.

· Manages account data in CRM management tool & communicates updates.

· Assists in acquiring new business accounts following up in bound calls.

· Support sales team to achieve revenue & other budgets set for the year.

· Join Outside Sales Representative on sales visits as required.

· Share information about activities, offers, strengths & weaknesses of market participants with the Outside Sales Representative & Sales Manager.

Degree holder in any discipline.

2-3 years cargo sales and/or customer service experience or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.

Good Command of spoken and written English and Cantonese. Proficiency in Putonghua is preferred.

Advanced IT knowledge, preferably including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Shift work is required (including Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays).
