Job summary

China Telecom Global Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a seasoned routing operations professional to lead onboarding, evaluation and full lifecycle management of international A2P SMS routing resources with global suppliers. You will negotiate pricing, optimize cost structures, monitor channel quality in real time and implement dynamic LCR-based routing to meet SLAs and improve delivery rates.

The role requires strong data analysis, Mandarin and English fluency, and extensive telecom operator

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in telecom/CS or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in international A2P routing ops or traffic management.
• Proficient in SMPP protocol, A2P routing principles and gray-scale distribution.
• Familiar with international SMS settlement rules and profit calculation models.
• Strong data sensitivity and capability in data analysis.
• Deep understanding of global A2P chain and regional regulatory frameworks.
• Extensive resources with international telecom operators.
• Excellent business negotiation and bargaining skills.
• Strategic thinking as a traffic operator with strong execution and cross-team coordination.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding, evaluation and lifecycle management of routing resources from global A2P SMS suppliers.
• Assist in price negotiation and contract term discussions for routing channels.
• Develop direct and high-quality routing resources and optimize cost structure and channel stability.
• Build and maintain a global overview of premium routing resources.
• Real-time monitoring of channel quality across destinations.
• Implement dynamic intelligent routing scheduling based on LCR strategy.
• Allocate cost-effective routes while ensuring customer SLA and improving delivery rate.
• Establish differentiated pricing by channel quality and regions.
• Formulate routing operation strategies targeting revenue, profit margin, traffic and message return rate.
• Collaborate with technical teams to reduce violation rate using AI outbound verification.

Allocate optimal cost-effective routes while ensuring customer SLA compliance and improving message delivery rate

Establish a differentiated pricing system based on dimensions including channel quality and geographical regions

Formulate routing operation strategies targeting core metrics such as business revenue, profit margin, traffic volume and message return rate

Implement cross-departmental collaboration mechanism with the technical team to reduce violation rate through technical approaches including AI outbound verification

About you

Full-time bachelor's degree or above; majors in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields are preferred

Minimum 3 years of working experience in international A2P SMS routing operations, communication network resource management or traffic operation

Proficient in SMPP protocol, A2P routing principles and gray-scale distribution mechanism

Familiar with international SMS settlement rules and profit calculation models

Strong data sensitivity and capability in data analysis and application

In-depth understanding of the global A2P industrial chain and local regulatory compliance frameworks in different regions

Extensive resources with international telecom operators

Excellent business negotiation and bargaining skills

Strong strategic thinking as a traffic operator and acute business awareness; result-oriented with strong execution capability, excellent cross-team coordination skills

Fluency in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English
