Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Hong Kong seeks an Executive Assistant Manager - Rooms to lead the Rooms Division, coordinating Front Office, Concierge, Guest Service Centre, Guest Relations, Housekeeping and Security to deliver exceptional guest experiences and strong financial results.

You will work with the General Manager and Executive Committee to drive HeartBeat, guest satisfaction and brand-aligned service excellence while nurturing a high-performing culture across a luxury lifestyle setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred.
• 8–10 years of progressive Rooms Division leadership experience, including at least 2 years as Director of Rooms.
• Experience in Hong Kong, Mainland China, or the Asia Pacific region with strong local market knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of Rooms Division operations, quality assurance systems, and hotel performance metrics.
• Proven leadership, communication, interpersonal skills and strategic planning abilities.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage change effectively.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing departmental budgets and financial performance.
• Fluent in English; Cantonese and Mandarin skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Rooms Division, including Front Office, Concierge, Guest Service Centre, Guest Relations, Housekeeping and Security.
• Drive guest satisfaction, HeartBeat metrics, and online reputation through proactive monitoring and improvement plans.
• Provide strategic oversight to ensure operational excellence and brand standard alignment across all rooms functions.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, labor cost management and revenue optimization.
• Promote a guest-centric culture, staff engagement and succession planning across the Rooms Division.
• Act as manager on duty as required and handle public relations towards the local community.
