Job summary

Ecological Balancing Technologies Asia Limited, the Asia regional HQ of Ecological Balancing Technologies Corporation of the USA, seeks a Business Development Manager (Retail) in Wan Chai to drive revenue growth and market penetration in the retail sector. You will identify opportunities, craft proposals and close deals with retail partners.

The role requires 2+ years in BD/sales, solid understanding of retail dynamics, excellent communication, and willingness to travel within HK and the region.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in business development, sales or account management.
• Proven track record of closing new business opportunities.
• Strong understanding of the retail industry, market dynamics and key drivers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels.
• Willingness to travel within Hong Kong and the region as required.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new retail business opportunities through market research, networking and direct outreach.
• Develop and present compelling business proposals and commercial offers tailored to retail clients' needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the retail sector.
• Negotiate contracts and commercial terms to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery of solutions to new retail clients.
• Track and report on business development activities, pipeline progress and sales forecasts.
• Attend industry events, trade shows and networking functions to generate leads and market awareness.
• Identify market trends and competitor activity to inform business development strategy.
• Work towards achieving agreed business development targets and revenue goals.
