Job summary

Leadingnation is seeking a Shift Leader in Hong Kong to oversee daily restaurant operations in the Restaurant Manager's absence. The role emphasizes directing staff, ensuring compliance with company standards across preparation, delivery, customer relations, maintenance and inventory, and maintaining financial accountability.

Responsibilities include supervising Crew Members, coaching and training, handling opening/closing duties, and upholding safety and quality standards throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Food Hygiene Manager Certification is preferred.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a food service or retail environment preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal and group communication skills.
• Basic business math skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of the restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager, including supervising and training employees, opening and closing the store, ensuring food preparation is complete, managing shifts, and completing shift summaries.
• Motivates and coaches Crew Members and assists in training new Crew Members.
• Performs Crew Member tasks including runner, order taker, dining room attendant, grill operator, sandwich maker, fry station, drinks and cashier.
• Works as a team player to support other employees in completing tasks.
• May assist General Manager with scheduling, ordering, and team development.
