Job summary

Kitchee Bistro, a short walk from Shek Mun Station in Sha Tin, is seeking a high‑caliber Restaurant Manager / Assistant Manager to lead daily operations and uphold service excellence in a relaxed dining setting.

You will supervise front‑of‑house staff, manage rosters and costs, work closely with the Kitchen Team on menu execution, and drive guest satisfaction through proactive leadership and team development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ supervisory or managerial experience in fine dining, clubhouse restaurants, or banquet operations; less experience may be considered for Assistant Restaurant Manager
• Good communication skills in Cantonese and English; Mandarin an advantage
• Genuine passion for hospitality and guest service
• Solid understanding of basic restaurant floor operations and simple stock control
• A hands-on team player who works well with people and stays calm under pressure
• Willing to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays / at other locations as required

Responsibilities

• Oversee full daily restaurant operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, cleanliness, and food hygiene
• Lead, train, and mentor floor staff; manage duty rosters, manpower allocation, and performance evaluations
• Handle guest feedback professionally, optimize service flow, and elevate the overall dining experience
• Work closely with the Kitchen Team on menu execution, and oversee meal/seating arrangements for the Club Youth Academy
• Monitor labor and operating costs, manage stock inventory/procurement, and oversee daily financial reporting
• Formulate operational strategies to drive sales, achieve business targets, and handle ad‑hoc tasks assigned by senior management
