Job summary

Jia Group Holdings Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional guest service, and drive revenue through cost controls and staff development. You will collaborate with the Executive Chef, coordinate on menus and promotions, manage the floor team, handle guest feedback, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and grooming.

This role requires strong leadership, English fluency, and a proactive, energetic hospitality mindset.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
• Michelin-starred or fine dining experience preferred.
• Proactive in managing daily tasks and driving restaurant operations.
• Excellent managerial and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to handle complaints tactfully and maintain hospitality.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Job description

Manage daily operations of the restaurant

Work closely with the Executive Chef

Liaise with internal and external parties on creating new menus and promotion programmers

Managing the whole floor team

Develop and maintain good relationships with guests

Handle guests' comments and complaints and take immediate corrective actions

Responsible for colleague scheduling, briefing, performance reviews, recruitment, training & development and related issues

Check daily maintenance, cleanliness of the restaurant and grooming of staff

Responsible for budget plan, cost control, sales and revenue repots

Ensure all controllable expenses are kept within budget and forecast figures

Find ways to improve the efficiency of the operation that will benefit our clients

Propose and initiate, new services and products for our guests

Pro active on daily task and running the business.

Requirements:

• 3-4 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity
• Michelin-starred or fine dining experience is highly preferred
• Proactive in managing daily tasks and driving overall restaurant operations
• Excellent managerial and interpersonal skills
• Strong ability to handle complaints and comments tactfully
• Good sense of marketing strategies, cost control, and budgeting
