Job summary

Mass Transit Railway is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for residential buildings to oversee on-site property management staff and service contractors, ensuring smooth operation in line with covenants and house rules.

The ideal candidate holds a property-related degree, has at least five years of residential property management experience with at least one year in supervision, and possesses a Tier 1 Property Management Practitioner licence plus membership in a recognised professional body.

Qualifications

• Degree in a property-related discipline is required.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in managing residential properties, with at least one year in supervision.
• Holder of a Tier 1 Property Management Practitioner licence and membership in a recognised professional body.
• Familiarity with Deeds of Mutual Covenant, House Rules and related ordinances is essential.
• Excellent interpersonal, supervisory and analytical abilities with strong service focus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of on-site property management staff and service contractors.
• Lead pre-management preparations, operation setup, and turnover of properties.
• Review the efficiency of management services and drive improvements.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external regulations.
• Prepare management budgets and cost-control documentation.
• Handle public enquiries and liaise with residents, owners and authorities.
