Job summary

Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) invites applications to join the new student residence management team. The appointee will support residential life programs and assist with daily hall operations, including facilities, reimbursements, and procurement.

Strong English and Chinese (Putonghua) communication skills, plus a Bachelor’s degree, are required. Fresh graduates are welcome, and a 2-year contract with renewal is offered with fringe benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with some work experience preferred.
• Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation, attention to detail, and multitasking capabilities.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills in English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
• High level of computer literacy or experience as a student leader is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support Residence Masters and Assistant Managers in implementing residential life programs and promoting initiatives that resonate with students.
• Provide administrative support for daily operations of student halls, including facilities management, reimbursements, and procurement duties.
• Engage with hall residents, addressing inquiries, requests, and complaints to foster a supportive living environment.
