Job summary

PageUp People Limited is recruiting a Manager/Assistant Manager (Administrative Assistant II/Executive Officer) for the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine at HKUMed. The role will commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and retirement benefits, with renewal subject to funding and performance.

Qualifications

• A good university degree and at least 8 years’ relevant administrative experience in the higher education, public, or quasi-public sector.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Chinese.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Manage the RPg programme at faculty level, including student recruitment, admissions, progress and probation monitoring, and coursework.
• Provide administrative support to the faculty’s core research facilities, including access booking, budgeting, HR, and supporting management committee meetings.
• Organize seminars and workshops to promote research integrity and good practices for HKUMed staff and students.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support faculty-level initiatives.
