Job summary

Canonical is expanding its Embedded Devices Software Solution Sales team in the Americas. This remote role focuses on prospecting, building relationships with senior IT and product leaders, and closing bookings across embedded Linux, RTOS, and IoT software solutions.

You will travel regionally and internationally for events, collaborate with Field Engineers, and maintain Salesforce pipelines. Strong English, proven sales background in embedded software is required.

Qualifications

• Field sales experience in embedded Linux, embedded software, or enterprise software.
• Strong English communication and presentation skills.
• Experience building senior-level relationships and closing large bookings.
• Proven ability to manage pipelines and forecast accurately.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute territory sales plan for security-focused brands and manufacturers.
• Collaborate with marketing to raise brand awareness in prioritized accounts.
• Develop pipeline via outreach, events, and local marketing.
• Close contracts to meet quarterly and annual bookings targets.
• Maintain customer relationships throughout the sales cycle.
