Job summary

Canonical is expanding its Embedded Devices Software Solution Sales team. This remote role based in Japan targets APAC, focusing on Ubuntu Core for IoT and embedded Linux solutions.

You will build trusted relationships, develop strategic accounts, and carry an annual bookings quota with travel for client engagement and events. The ideal candidate has field sales experience in embedded Linux or enterprise software, excellent English, and a proven record of large account wins.

Qualifications

• Field sales experience in embedded Linux or enterprise software.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and large account wins.
• Professional English with strong presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute territory sales plan for security-focused brands and manufacturers.
• Close contracts to meet quarterly and annual bookings targets.
• Develop pipeline through outreach, local marketing and industry events.
• Travel to client sites and company events as needed.
