Canonical is expanding its Embedded Devices Software Solution Sales team and is hiring a Sales Manager for APAC. The role is home-based in APAC with frequent travel to customer sites and events.

Qualifications

• Field sales experience in embedded Linux, embedded software, or enterprise software.
• Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally and regionally.
• Academic record from high school and university.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a territory sales plan for APAC focusing on security-forward brands and manufacturers.
• Collaborate with marketing to raise brand awareness in prioritized accounts.
• Develop pipeline through outbound prospecting, local events, and industry activities.
• Close contracts to meet quarterly and annual bookings targets and strategic objectives.
• Manage customer relationships through all stages of the sales cycle.
• Coordinate with Field Engineers to capture customer requirements and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate data and forecasts in Salesforce.
• Build relationships with key influencers and decision-makers.
