Job summary

Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) Hong Kong is seeking a meticulous Customer Services Assistant / Remittance Assistant to join our retail branch team in Admiralty. You will handle teller services, remittance processing, and account maintenance while ensuring AML/KYC compliance and strict regulatory standards.

The role requires fluency in English with Chinese language skills preferred; banking experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

Degree holder in any disciplines.
Experience in the Banking industry preferred.
Familiar with Customer Service, Teller & Remittance business.
Proficient in written and spoken English; Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide counter teller services: cash deposits/withdrawals, check processing, banknote verification, and daily vault/cash drawer balancing.
Handle end-to-end account maintenance: opening/closing Savings, Current, and Time Deposit accounts.
Process local and cross-border remittance transactions in a timely manner.
Guide customers through remittance forms, handle amendments and resolve transaction queries.
Maintain daily/monthly transaction logs, debit authorizations, and payment reports.
Conduct CDD/KYC and Name Screening clearances per HKMA standards.
Deliver high-quality service by resolving inquiries and handling complaints with empathy.
