Job summary

OCBC Bank (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Remittance Operations Specialist to support outward and inward remittance processes, AML checks, and daily reporting. The role requires bilingual English and Mandarin, strong accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure.

You will interact with Treasury, branches and customers to ensure timely settlements. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year banking remittance experience, with 3 years in remittance for a managerial track; familiarity with IRS and

Qualifications

• 1 year banking experience.
• 3 years banking experience in remittance for manager role.
• Typing and communication skill.
• Familiar with Remittance operational procedures, bank policies for manager role.
• Hardworking.
• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin.
• Capable to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Process outward remittance applications from multiple channels.
• Handle input of Inward Remittance transactions via IRS.
• Handle inward and outward clean bills collection.
• Handle account posting under Deposit Teller System.
• Handle time-deposit instructions.
• Receive remittance applications and funds settlements and obtain exchange rate.
• Ensure the Rate Book and Due From are used at day end.
• Verify identifications and encash foreign bank drafts if any.
• Handle AML-related transactions and collaborate with AML/CFT Compliance Officer.
• Perform Charges Claim upon receipt of claims from banks.
• Investigate irregular remittance items and coordinate with other units.
• Prepare daily/monthly reports for management review.
• Distribute circulars from HKICL, HKMA and SWIFT to departments.
• File transaction records and arrange off-site retention.
• Support system testing for payment initiatives.
• Provide prompt customer service over counter/phone.
